Obsessed Part Three The Obsessed Series Book 3 edition by Deborah Bladon Literature Fiction eBooks
This is a review for all four books in the series. Ivy is a jewellery designer, devastated after she caught her fiancé cheating on her. Jax is wealthy business man with a grudge. They meet at a gallery and then the romance starts. I was invested from the start but it quickly turned to confused and annoyed. Jack was basically a creepy stalker, turning in to a controlling man with multiple personalities. Ivy is naive and quickly persuaded by the first touch. This relationship was so up and down I got exhausted by it. Just like Ivy, you know.. until the next chapter where she was mesmerised by Jax again. I absolutely love this author and I give her a pass since this is her first story.

Obsessed Part Three The Obsessed Series Book 3 edition by Deborah Bladon Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
And the conclusion....I continued to have my doubts about Jax, I almost thought that the focus of the "obsession" was going to actually be someone else and Ivy was merely a pawn. But, thank goodness, he loved her all along and in the end, he made the correct decision--and so did she.
Ivy- a little whiny in this one, I think the character began getting annoyed with all of the up and down emotional roller coaster. I suppose I can't blame her. She was certainly into bolting and escaping as her coping mechanism. I liked her, although she was a bit annoying at times.
Jax- actually and thankfully, a good guy who suffered from love at first sight. Ok--one issue with Jax up until the end--I am not sure he had good stamina in bed. Seriously, he isnt that old but for a "playboy", he certainly finished quickly. Just an observation--the sexual scenes were quick. Wham bam.
Good series- quick reads, good writing. A few editing mistakes that spell-check would not have caught in the kindle version. I think the three stories could have been combined into one but I understand why authors do it. I suppose I am pretty much over waiting for the next book after a cliffhanger ending.
I will definitely read this author again.
As I finished this series, there were many things that came to mind. I loved the idea of Jax and Ivy but had a hard time getting past his childish behavior. He's suppose to be a man of business and at 26 years old, I had greater expectation for him. First of all, for him to be as obsessed with her as what he was, was a little scary. Second, the glee that he gets from his rival possibly going tonjail to the point that he jumps up and down or wherever that was in the series, made me think really? That's more of what a 6 year old would do plus the way he treated Ivy was not the way that shows how much you love someone. He dashes out of the house leaving her alone so he can go who knows where to do who knows what and then he acts all confused as to why she left. I like my heros to be strong men that know who they are, can show tenderness and act like men not some juvenile that apparently can't handle being in an adult relationship. He plays hot and cold with her all the time and then never shares with her his thoughts other than when he wants sex or when she confronts him. I just had a hard time liking Jax even as he "matured" by the end. I really wanted to like this series but it just didn't work for me.
Obsessed Part Three is the continuation of the saga between Jax and Ivy. I liked the story. I wish that the book would have been sold as a whole unit as opposed to three shorts. After reading all of the stories I liked the relationship between Jax and Ivy. True Jax is a little controlling, but the author was able to convey a softer side of Jax, especially in this last installment. Overall the book was a little like a kiddie rollercoaster ride. There were twists and turns, but none where too severe. I do feel like Ivy was overreacting a little towards the end. I mean the girl had forgave him for much worse and she gets upset that he bought the company that was showing her work so that she doesn’t lose her source of income. Jax has done much worse. I also like that Ivy finds her back bone in this story. She decides that she is going to put her “big girl panties” on and get what she wants and deserves. The story doesn’t always go as expected, but it was very entertaining and I would and have recommended it to a friend. The sex is hot, the drama does get to be a little much, but only a little. In conclusion, I would want to read more about this couple and intend to read Still Obsessed.
Oh good grief. I felt accomplished that I actually finished reading book three only to realize I still had book four to get through. I'm done. No can do. The characters were ALL annoying. Except for Ivy's elderly neighbor. The writing was so bad and there was no character development. Ivy had to be the most ignorant woman ever. Jax would simply touch her knee and 15 seconds later she would have an orgasm. Most of us readers have visuals while getting into the story. But the time frames made no sense. When Ivy "discovered" the jump drive that just happened to be in the drawer where Jax told her the take-out menues were, it was minutes after she finished talking to him on the phone. (Spoiler...) Yet he walks in on her while she's watching it. And Madeline, the lush. While at lunch, she is ordering and downing three drinks in a row before Ivy barely completes two sentences. The concept of the story could have made this a good book. But the characters and their relationships/reactions were not believable. Jax "crying" about a former love - who's last name he couldn't remember? Jax "jumping up and down" with excitement? Everyone "stomping a foot" when frustrated? . I absolutely hate this trend of stretching these stories into three or four "books". I bought it because it was the complete set. Ugh. My brain hurts.
